Gendercide

Dear everyone who is reading this,
Gendercide.  Suicide.  Homicide.  Aborticide.  Matricide.  All of these words end in -cide.  It comes from the Latin root, caedere, which means to kill.  Matricide is the killing of ones mother.  Aborticide is the killing of babies or of a fetus.  Homicide is a killing of another person.  Suicide is the killing of one's self.  And gendercide is the killing of a specific gender.  Killing. Killing. Killing.  Such a ridiculous thing.  I cannot comprehend why some people think three or four of the above listed -cide words are not okay, while the others are.  In my mind, murder is murder, just like God is God and pie is pie.  Humans have too much of a tendency to make things harder than they actually are.  Gendercide is beyond ridiculous and a very illogical idea in the first place.  It does not even make sense even if you think aborticide is okay.  If you kill all of the girls, you cannot have any more babies at all eventually.  The whole idea is never at one point logical.  I think that murder is murder and God said not to murder.  That doesn't mean that abortion is okay or suicide is okay or gendercide is okay.  We need more Christians in this world that believe in the entire Bible and spread that message rather than just part of it. 

James 2: 8-11 (THE MESSAGE)

"You do well when you complete the Royal Rule of the Scriptures: "Love others as you love yourself." But if you play up to these so-called important people, you go against the Rule and stand convicted by it. You can't pick and choose in these things, specializing in keeping one or two things in God's law and ignoring others. The same God who said, "Don't commit adultery," also said, "Don't murder." If you don't commit adultery but go ahead and murder, do you think your non-adultery will cancel out your murder? No, you're a murderer, period."

 Yeah.  That's pretty much it.  My point in a sentence:  murder is murder no matter what fancy name you decide to give to it.  The End.
